Filling a large gap temporarily

I'm making a space for myself in our garage which is detached, single shell wall, no insulation. There's a gap between the garage door and the wall that I'd like to plug but still be able to use the garage door in the future if we change how we use the garage.

I don't think the foam fillers will be able to be removed easily so have discounted them. Next all I can think is making a homemade draft excluder type thing with old fabric wrapped in carrier bags ( waterproof????!!!!)

Does anyone have any brighter ideas?

I'm not aiming for full on insulation- just blocking the gap from obvious rain, cold, rats .... oh they will eat through that won't they? Might have to add in rat proof wire.....

Can you post a photo so we can clearly see what you mean?

If the door is too small then there are draught proofing materials you can attach to the door or frame.

Tape round the door using thick plumbers tape? It won't do any good re the cold but will keep out draughts and hopefully water and easy to remove. Attach a purpose made rubber seal to the bottom of the door to keep out water.

Could you fit a sort of framework on wheels and heavy duty plastic or something?

Or stuff the gap with bubble wrap and tape over that?

I have insulated some gaps around our windows with some wool carpet underlay. You could roll it up and bung it in
