What colour internal doors???

I'm having internal doors made to be be fitted between my kitchen & conservatory.

These will be 2 x 2 bi-fold glazed doors which will fold in half and then back so that they fit into the space either side of the opening on the conservatory.
(So not normal bi-folds, more of a split door).
The opening is about 173cm, so each of the 4 panels will be about 40cm with a frame and glass inside. I'm not sure of the actual dimensions of the frame yet - the joiner has only just been to measure up.

All internal doors in the house are white painted.
The skirting and door frames are all stained wood.
The windows are being replaced and will be white internally & rosewood externally. There are no windows in the kitchen.
The conservatory is all stained wood and won't be changing.
The doors are elikely to be closed most of the winter and folded back the rest of the year - although will be useful in hot weather to keep the heat out of the kitchen.

Pictures from both sides of the opening, and an example I found of similar doors.

What colour would you have the doors?
I'd initially thought stained wood, but am bit wondering if white would make the opening seem lighter when they are closed.

I think writing this and looking at the pictures has helped - I've asked him to quote based on stained wood architraves and white glazed doors with clear glass.

Sorry, totally not what you asked but this is exactly what I'm looking for! Can I ask what sort of tradesperson you have doing the work please?

Haha, yes sure - it's a joinery company www.nejoinery.co.uk/ gives an idea of their work.

I did look at standard doors, there are a couple of bifold ones like that sold online for cheaper - but I couldn't get the sizing right and decided to go bespoke, which is more expensive but will hopefully be lovely.

He was talking about doing them in tulip wood as they are internal.
He did say tulip wood is scarce atm, so it might be beech/birch? But then because we were talking about stained wood said he'd see it he could do them in mahogany for the same price, presumably if I have them painted white mahogany would be a bit overkill though.

@Chasingsquirrels thank you! I have tried a few local carpenters / joiners but none are interested / available. I wanted the work done before the winter (as I'm sure you understand!)

Indeed!
We had the conservatory put on 19 years ago.
Every winter I think I should get doors.
Then spring, summer & autumn cokes around and I love it without the doors and do nothing.
I got the quote from this guy in May-21 and didn't follow up it.
It's been the heat this year which has put me into gear.

A wood colour would co-ordinate, but since your kitchen has no window, to be honest, white would be better, as wood frames would make it darker still. White would help reflect and brighten what light there is.

That's the conclusion I came to 🙂

Oh, and there is a window in the utility room - which is the closed door (usually open) in the picture from the kitchen. The window is opposite that door and the utility is only 1.4m wide, so the kitchen does get light from there as well as from the conservatory opening.

White, or possibly painted to match the kitchen cupboards (and also paint the utility door and frame).
