Bouncy strip on bottom of new door- is that normal?

As the title says- got new pvc windows and a door to the garden too. The bottom of the door doesn’t feel like it’s resting on anything so it bounces as you walk on it and you can push it down and it bends up and down. Is that normal? Bit annoyed in general about the door as they’ve made it too big so it is going to cause an issue with the floor inside so don’t know if I’m being too picky or if this has the potential to snap/break if it bends like this. Thanks for any advice!

There are flexible threshold strips, for example wheelchair friendly ones, could it be that type? I can’t really make out the pic, even if I zoom in. Maybe get them to come back and check/clarify before you pay the final bill. If you aren’t happy with the door size get them to sort it before you pay too. We had an awful time with double glazing at our last house, they blagged payment by promising to sort all sorts then, typically, we never saw them for months.

The white bit not resting on anything is fine. I wouldn’t tend to stand on that bit really?
Is the black bit and in from that more solid?

Threshold strip, We’ve just replaced ours, it was starting to perish, it’s been in place for 15 years.
If the door is too big tell them you want it changing for the correct size.

The black strip on the bottom is the seal and should be tight up to the bottom of the door when it’s closed to keep draughts out,

The white bit is the cill that water drips off , it should be solidly bedded/ packed underneath so it doesn’t have any bounce in it. It might bend a bit if you stand on the outside edge of it because it’s plastic ( not recommended).

and how can anyone fit a door properly with a pile of bricks/ rubble at the side so it doesn’t even open fully ?

it dose look a bit lower than normal.

It’s the black bit that’s bouncy- agree I wouldn’t step on the outer white bit but would and did step on the black bit and was suprised by the bounce.
