Heat in kitchen cupboards!

I've recently moved and I've noticed my kitchen cupboards get quite warm (even before this hot spell). For example, coconut oil has become liquid.

Does anyone know how to remedy this? The doors close shut, so should I use a small pad or something to enable them to stay open slightly? Is it possible to get clay trays - ie like the cooling pots you can get - that I could rest foods on?

Also, what food needs to come out of the cupboards, should not be stored there? At the moment there are packets and kilner jars of nuts, seeds etc, tinned food, baking stuff, bottles of oils vinegars... the usual.

Thanks for any thoughts or ideas 😊

Coconut oil goes liquid in the Summer, so that doesn’t suggest excessive heat. Do they feel warm inside ? Are there any pipes underneath ?

They do feel warm inside. Measured the temperature a month or so ago and can't remember the exact reading, but it was definitely a warm number!

No pipes, but the wall adjoins my neighbour's flat. The walls don't feel warm, and I hear nothing from my neighbour so I think the walls are quite thick

Do the cupboards get a lot of direct sun, so that the doors are warming up ?

Thanks for your reply.

That's the odd thing, no direct sun. The kitchen is similar to a galley style and the window is at the other end, so no direct sun.
