How to put a jacuzzi onto a raised plinth.

Its in a summerhouse so not possible to get a crane in without dismantling the structure.
Jacuzzi have been contacted but for them to do it will be astronomically expensive.
We need to

  1. find a way to raise the jacuzzi (empty obviously) but still v heavy.

  2. put under a construction of railway sleepers and deck boards, to make a raised plinth.

  3. any advice welcome.

Hire a structural engineer?

Can you take one side off the summer house? If not then I would find something you can use to prop it up while you build the structure underneath. Some scaffold boards with something underneath maybe some bits of a scaffold tower? You can hire these or buy them on eBay second hand and resell when you are done.

There is enough space around the tube in the summerhouse, and I think we are going down the road of propping it up and then putting the strong decking under in segments. Scaffolding boards sound a good idea

Scaffold is a good idea and should be able to cope with the weight whilst you build the structure.

we are raising ours up when it is being serviced to put some rubber matting underneath to reduce vibration and noise. We will be jimmying up one side at a time .

Car jack, and pipes like a modern day stone henge. A local builder would probably do it for cash.

Hire (or even buy) a couple of hydraulic car jacks.
About £30 each at Toolstation.

Decided on using pallet trolleys rather than car hacks as the spread the weight better Scaffolding boards to support while we get the structure underneath and hgv strength car wedges to support each corner.

We used to have a tiger river hot tub. We transported it into place using 6 blokes and 3 ladders. Slide ladders under and a bloke on each end.
