Walk in wardrobe in an attic room with vaulted walls

I don't really know where to start! I'm having difficulty even trying to imagine how it will look and I'm getting nowhere fast on Pinterest and Google images. Has anyone ever done this?! Help!

Larger companies are a no-no (we are skint) and IKEA cannot help us with a design as they need straight walls!

OP when you say vaulted walls, do you mean building into the eaves?

A carpenter that can hand build? I have a loft conversion and a local carpenter put cupboards in the eves and a built in wardrobe in a sloping recess.

To add, he built them in mdf and our decorator painted them. To buy them from a proper bedroom company would have been ££££ as they would have had to be custom fit. I think they look great.

Local carpenter built a couple of walls in a corner under the eaves and put an interior bifold door on it and a couple of rails inside and plastered it. It isn’t big but to give an idea it was £650, South Coast last December.

Yes! Sorry - I meant in the eaves. The room is basically triangular.

Thanks everyone - I think I'll have to find someone local to me.
YouTube has some handy vids too actually.

If you’re on a budget I would use these in the eaves and get some malm drawers for underneath and see if you can get a local carpenter to make doors to hide all your crap. If you can avoid getting carcasses and drawers it should save you a few pennies, but on the other hand if you get the whole whack done by a professional it will look the tits tbh. Definitely get a local business rather than Sharps or Hammonds (is that what they’re called? We don’t have them in NI), it’ll be way cheaper.

@TheCraicDealer Definitely worth a thought - thank you.
What are malm drawers?

Chuckling away here at your expression "it will look the tits tbh" 😂
Is that a local expression?! Makes a change from "It's the dogs bollocks" 😆

I think I got it from my midlands-DH tbh!

Malm drawers are the basic handle-less chest of drawers from IKEA. Cheap and cheerful, think everyone has had a set at some point! Just depends how much you want to spend right now.

We have wardrobes built into the eaves, we used Platsa from Ikea (not as versatile as Pax but we had limited height in the area) and cut them down at an angle sloping from front to back and boxed in the ends with MDF. Similar to this so we have a walk-in wardrobe in what was a really awkward corner of our bedroom. We did this ourselves as we were low on funds but I probably could have had them done by a carpenter for not a lot more.
Neighbours with the same stupid bedroom layout have wardrobes fitted where we have our bed in an arch shape like this but with doors so their bed is in the weird shed shaped corner.
Pinterest is your friend here, lots of creative ideas for this type of project.

I don't want to spend much.
I have no budget for it tbh - the overall build cost has crippled us! If we can't do this, then we'll be using boxes, bags for life and makeshift clothes rails for the foreseeable!
