We are looking to purchase a property near grove park station and would love to find out more about the area, it seems like they have decent schools and easy to travel into central London!
please let us know your thought if you have lived / living around the area!
much appreciated!
thanks

Bromley is a significant hub for transport and shops, restaurants and bars. Grove Park has very little of that and is more of a quiet residential area, but a short hop on bus or by car to Bromley.

I live just off of Burnt Ash Lane near to the Lidl so am between Grove Park and Bromley. We moved here a year ago and love it - it's a nice mix of green outdoor space but with great transport links to central London. I personally think it's a bit of a hidden gem and will one day become the focus for developers and investors considering it's only 18 minutes by train to London Bridge. The high street is a bit run down but it's fine and you can get to Bromley, Lee, Blackheath etc. really easily.

@Stillwinston

Don’t tell everyone 😮

For years we kept the prices low in SE London🙂 now everyone has found us they’ve shot up

I lived there and it was great. Good value and close to central London by train. The road towards Burnt Ash Lane are very leafy. I would live there again

I live just off Baring Road and love it here. I've been in my house for seven years now and can't ever imagine moving.
The area is so much less cramped than the other side of the South Circular. Its quieter, green and has a sense of calm that is a rarity in London.
Prices are catching up with the Hither Green/Lee areas where people are being priced out or want more space.

It's got a really busy road running through the middle of it the Trainline is awful and shops are rubbish. The housing stock is good if you like suburban
