Replacing gas central heating with electric - need advice!

I'm hoping someone has already done this. Small one bed flat, needs boiler replaced but property management Co has strict stipulations about all new heating systems being electric. There were complications with the way the flue was weaving across the flats.

Can anyone recommend a brand of boiler for electric? Or a company to install?

Or share any experiences?
Thank you

Since you are in the situation where you have to shell out anyway, why not suggest that they take the bull by the horns and install a property-wide communal heating system.
They can get something eco and future-proofed, they can (hopefully) get cheaper heating prices through bulk purchasing.

Do the residents have any control over the property management company?

Bearing in mind that the cost of energy from electricity is about four times as much as energy from gas, this will increase running costs and reduce value of the homes.

Thank you both very much for replying. Unfortunately the service management company are horrendous. Uncooperative, no help in any situation whatsoever but they have doubled the service management charges and I for one am really struggling.

They also don't advise.

I know, it's so worrying about the costs of electricity...

Cost of electricity v gas ?
Consider 1) Changing to electricity, you will not pay a 'gas' standing charge. British gas standing charge is currently 27p per day....that's £99 a year (and that's for standing charge payers, much for for other types of users !)
2) You will not paying for an annual gas boiler service/repair contract (mine is currently about £180 a year)
3) A gas boiler will, at some point (10 - 12 years ?) need replacing - electric heating won't.
4) 'Social and environmental' levies are now 23% of your electricity bill - but 0% of your gas bill - (Ofgem figures, February 2021). The Government has said that that is unfair and cannot continue, and anyway (for climate change reasons) are committed to reducing fossil fuel use, and moving to electricity; thus henceforth those levies will gradually shift from electricity to gas bills.
