Getting trees cut down

We've just been to view a bungalow that we really like but can see the trees and shrubs along the rear boundary are rather overgrown. Anyone have any really rough idea what sort of cost it would be to get them cut down to size and tidied up - two trees might be better cut right down and would need doing so safely (20ft tall but quite thin fir trees). We're in Yorkshire.

We pay 350 a day but that doesn’t include taking the wood away, and we use our tree surgeons regularly. I suspect you will pay 750 odds.

I paid £150 to get a similar height sycamore cut down and taken away. Deprived town in South East.

I paid £150 for 2 Maple trees to be cut down. If I wanted the stump removed it would be £350.

For 1 tree it would have been £100 to cut down and £275 to remove stump.

You can't cut trees or hedges until after the nesting season.
