Hi everyone
Was wondering how much would it cost to 'crane' a static caravan into my back garden? xx

First you would need planning permission. And it may not be granted.

There was a huge kerfuffle in these parts when someone tried that. It had to be removed.

Yep you’d need PP.
cranes are a HUGE expense too.
They tend to need setting up and a lot of space around them, would that be possible on your street? It would likely involve closing the road for the day which could could need to incur cost for traffic management (ie two blokes with stop/go signs) or arranging a diversion.

Build a brick garden gym instead. Probably cheaper.

This or one of those swanky ‘summer house/shed’ things. Likely to be cheaper and easier. Craning items normally starts at around £1k and upwards, (on pre authorised sites) plus pp and other bits and bobs like haulage and craning at the beginning.

I don’t know about a static caravan but it cost £500 plus vat to crane a 7 seater hot tub at my house and this was the price around 6 -7 years ago .
They needed to get permission to shut the rd which wasn’t a problem
It didn’t take that long do though it was surprisingly quick

We used a crane, it was about 1500 many years ago. Permission to shut the street temporarily etc was needed. But the greater issue is getting planning permission as others have said.

plus vat
