There’s a house by us that had converted the cellar area to a bar- it was huge. Had a bathroom, games room, cinema- it was bitterly cold though. My DH went to a party there years ago.

Are the contents of the bar included in the price?

Years ago I was flat hunting in Glasgow not far from there. Out of about 12 flats, there were at least 3 ordinary flats with bars - it was a thing. I know not why. We wondered if there had been a door to door bar salesman going around.

It's a weirdly souless house, isn't it? Even the bar is slightly depressing.
