2-bed house in North London for 700K near to good secondaries?

Hello all,
I'm a long-time South London resident looking to move to North London to be closer to family. Is there anywhere left where I can realistically get a 2-bed house for 700K in catchment areas for good/outstanding secondaries?

Must it be a house?

I don't live in North London but I think this a good idea of what you can get in North London for 700k and close to good schools:

Hi MojoMoon. I would like to have a house yes, tired of years of having to pay overpriced service charges!

The mill hill one is a winner. It’s a nice road and in catchment for brilliant primary and secondary.

South tottenham has Gladesmore comprehensive which is outstanding and great results. It only goes up to 16 but at 16 you would have a chance of Stoke Newington School or there is the catholic high school for girls which takes boys in sixth form.

That is interesting starpatch. Gladesmore certainly seems to be doing well. I've heard that people avoid buying in Tottenham as it is still considered pretty rough. Blackhorse Road looks like it is on the up but not too sure about schools there.

The Mill Hill one is lovely but how much clutter and rubbish in the garden. Cardboard boxes over the kitchen units. Half a day would sort this out.

It does have great potential, but not sure I would have the time or money to sort this house out.

That is one stunning property! Might be just outside the catchment for Pinner High School though.

I live near Blackhorse Road.

Willow tree gets good reviews from parents whose children go there (mine not yet there but will go). A bit further up you have the Academy, also gets good reviews from parents. It's very 'academy', but behaviour is very good.

I know Gladesmore, another very good school. The streets around there are actually nice, but bear in mind I'm happy living in Blackhorse.

This is a nice road. Very quiet.

kateSW9 · 03/04/2022 13:26

@Winedad thanks that one looks great, and more within my price range.

Or you could look round Highams Park/Chingford. You could get a bigger house, be closer to the forest. There's Higham's Park School which I don't personally know but I know people who have looked round and like it.
