Moss on roof

Hi all
We have quite a lot of moss coverage on our roof. The roof itself is actually intact (I believe). Just wondering whether there are suggestions Re how to remove it?!
Thank you

Could try this www.wetandforget.co.uk/shop/wet-forget/wet-and-forget-rapid-with-sniper-nozzle

Haven't used it myself but have used the regular wet and forget and it works a treat as long as you follow the instructions. Not cheap but cheaper than getting someone in.

Leave it there, it’s not doing any harm. Removing it can do more damage and it just accumulates quickly again anyway.

We jet washed ours but you have to get into the ridge and only jet wash in a downwards direction. (Never up and under). Now looks like a brand new roof, didn't leak into the loft either ...

Moss on roof

We had some other roof work done and while the scaffolding was up the roofers treated with the ordinary Resolva stuff you use on the drive. In fact they left me the remains of the tub for my drive. Soon after bits of dead moss started falling near the house. The roofers expressly disapproved of jet washing as you can do some damage.

Yes, I think there was alot of faffing about pressure when ours was done, and it took 8 days ... (as was super careful). . . Luckily the other half did it, so could afford to go very slowly - and the roof was brand new 6 years ago, so was pretty solid. Something else to think about OP, is whatever you do end up using, the moss can clog up the gutter and down pipe, so put some chicken wire out to catch the moss from blocking these bits.
