What worktop and flooring do you have? And would you be willing to post a photo please?
My kitchen is north facing and long and slim. I’m looking at marble effect worktops and and greyish wood laminate floor but just not sure.

Ours is white but might be useful for you to get an idea of colouring?

I'd consider adding warmth/texture - colour, wood, plants...it just sounds a bit cold.

I have light grey but with handles, white quartz worktop with a tiny bit of mirror sparkle in it, oak effect herringbone floor tiles

I’m planning a dove grey handleless kitchen maybe with a navy island. Looking at LVT flooring, thinking a grey tile with a stone/ concrete effect, not totally flat in colour, some marbling in a paler colour than cabinets. Worktop will be white quartz, with some texture and very very subtle sparkle, more light reflecting as opposed to full on bling!! Can you tell I’m overthinking this. 🙈

We're in the middle of having this fitted. Pale grey handleless cabinets, waiting on worktop...white quartz and trying to choose wall colour, seem to he heading for pale blue

That’s a plywood floor protector not our flooring!

Looks beige on the photo but the cabinets are grey. We have travertine effect tiles and granite worktop.

Your choice of pain colour is my favourite too but I would go for the warmer colour flooring to the right. I like your choice of worktop too

I'd personally choose a more delicate and lighter tone of grey marble effect, too.

Really light grey gloss cabinets with integrated handles and a light oak solid wood worktop.
We have a white wood laminate on the floor though and painted the walls white

We have white cupboards, not pale grey, but we do have natural granite worktops & grey slate tiled floor. So a very similar idea colour wise. It works really well, so I'm sure your idea would too

I have exactly this. Fitted 7 years ago, still looks spot on. We have marble white/ grey work top and very dark grey flooring which I'm about to change to grey laminate. Walls used to be Brassica, a mauve colour which I changed a year or so ago for a dark teal, sorry can't remember the name. Love it.

May I ask if your Silestone Calcutta Gold is easy to keep clean.,Thinking of this worktop too but don’t want to have to be endlessly cleaning it.

Hi, yes it is easy to keep clean.You don’t really notice marks due to the pattern. Only problem we have had is very small chips on the edge of the sink where members of my family (DH) who aren’t very careful have bashed the edges with a pan or something as they have washed up.

Haven't really read the thread but I have light grey handless kitchen units combined with grey concrete-effect worktops. It is my design and choice for the minimalistic look 😍

I’m just having my kitchen refitted with similar cupboards, off white ish colour. I’ve gone for a mid grey quartz worktop with a sparkle finish ( pixie grey) and Karndean tiles in a dark grey, no grout between them and no border. I was thinking of pale coloured floors but they did not look great against the pale doors.

These photos were taken in the showroom so lighting is poor. At the moment my kitchen has no worktops, appliances or flooring, just a mess really!

Im struggling with colour for the walls, my whole house is currently painted white and I have brightly coloured accessories to lift the rooms. For the kitchen though I need some colour as I’m having black accessories with silver fridge, washing machine etc. maybe pale sage or dusky plum? Not blue ( cold as not much natural light due to pitch of roof) or yellow ( old colour which I’ve only just replaced)..

Obviously the grey flooring tile will not be seen butted up to the worktop colour, looks a bit odd in the photo.

I’d appreciate any suggestions re paint colour for walls. The blind is my old one so will replace it shortly. The two chairs in the seating area will be black as well, on order from John Lewis.

White granite worktop with some silver/glitter. Floor is Karndean Scandinavian Washed grey. We have a kitchen/diner/family room - most walls and ceiling are pale grey but 1 wall has wallpaper that is floral in black, grey and silver.
