What to put under Keter plastic shed as a base on top of block paving to make the shed sit higher

We plan to get a Keter plastic shed 9''x7'' from Costco. It will be placed on an area of block paving in the garden. The area is slightly lower and will have rain water running towards it. I would like to put something to make the shed sit higher so the water does not affect the bottom of it.

Any idea about what to put under the shed? I am thinking of perhaps a few large paving slabs. I think wood base will rot? We get the plastic shed for low maintenance so would not want to maintenance for the base either.

Thanks!

There are plastic shed bases available that click together to suit your size. From B&Q, Wickes etc.

Paving slabs under the entire area. If you don't do the entire area, you will ruin the shed floor.

@hedgehoglurker, thanks. looks like a good option.

@Laffinalltheway, I don't quite understand what you mean. This area 4.5mx3m is already paved with block paving. The shed is 2.8mx2.2m and smaller than the area. I mean we want the shed bottom to be above the ground as rain water flows on the paving. So just put something between the shed bottom and the paving.

If you don't put something across the entire area, and the firmer the better, your weight will ruin the floor, especially if the floor is in sections. You say you want to raise the shed from the block paving so rain doesn't get in, good idea, but take it from me, you need to do the entire area and paving slabs are best. I'm speaking from personal experience.

Sorry, I should have made myself clear... You need paving slabs under the entire area of the shed, not the surrounding space.

@Laffinalltheway, thanks
