Diy kitchens granite worktops

Has anyone had their worktops supplied and installed by diy kitchens?
Debating the river white and finding it hard to compare prices (what does the per piece stand for?). We need 4 pieces at around 6/7m² in total. Diy quote is 2200 (1700 granite, 250 bevel, 126 sink cut out, 95 drainer grooves, 11 plug hole) plus 650 for template/installation.
Would love to know whether others have done this and thoughts on pricing?

It sounds good to me. I paid £2500 for under 5sqm of quartz from a supplier just outside of London.

Thank you. I thought it was a good price (I paid £3500 for a smaller kitchen about 6 years ago) although the DIY quote is without vat.

Would be good to know from anyone who has used diy if the quality and installation are good?

Had DIY quartz worktop put in recently. 15% cheaper than we could find elsewhere from independent sellers and hugely cheaper than howdens/magnet and amazing fitters had a bit of a wait for fitting but I think that’s common these days.

Thank you. That's good to know about the fitters.

We had Dekton tops through DIY Kitchens last autumn. Nobody else could get near the price.

We couldn't fault the service from the subcontractors they used, Natural Stone Surfaces. Not sure if they do all the solid surfaces nationally for DIY, but they're based in Derbyshire and we're in south Wales so they cover a good area. They definitely do granite as well: Google lists them primarily as a "granite supplier".
