Do you have a shower hose?

Need to buy a bath and I don't know where to start!

I'm really drawn to bronze/brushed brass taps. Are they a fashion thing that I'll regret in a few years?!

I wanted a roll top but I prefer not to have a bath with legs. I did however, want an enamel or stone bath but my build is crippling me financially so I'm now opting for acrylic.

Are standard sizes 1700mm the general for UK? DH is a foot taller than me at 6'4" and I want one to suit us both.

We have the exact same tap as MissFritton, a similar bath and creepily the same lights but in our landing!

Our bath is 1800 and I'm 5ft7, DH is 6ft and we both agree it's too long and we should have gone for the shorter one (1580 in our case).

I've just had my bathroom refitted and always thought I wanted a free standing bath, until I seriously looked at the pros snd cons vs a normal bath.

Water going all over the floor
Exposed pipework
Nightmare to clean around
No where to put shampoo, soap, drink, phone etc
Uncomfortable sitting angle
Generally not long enough so choice of knees or shoulders getting exposed

They look lovely in pictures, but I'd be put off buying a house with one.
