Inheritance and help to buy equity loan

Looking to see if anyone has advice or has been in a similar situation. I’m 27 and recently lost my lovely daddy, due to him and my mum being divorced my sister and I inherited his estate. Last year we sold his house, as the process was very slow to start with then went very quickly we sold the property as executors without changing the names on title deed/land registry. I am now in a position where I would like to buy my first property, I am buying alone and I don’t have a great salary. I was initially told I would be eligible for a help to buy equity loan but now there is a question mark over this due to the property being part of the estate I inherited. One mortgage advisor is adamant this will not be a problem and has given an agreement in principle calculated on including the help to buy equity loan and the other mortgage advisor is unsure and wanting to seek guidance from help to buy… can anyone give any advice or experience?
