Wood look tiles....living room?

We are choosing our flooring for a new build house and have decided on a wood effect tile to go downstairs. The house has underfloor heating. In our current house, we have a (real) wooden floor running throughout the whole of the ground floor which looks great. DH would like to replicate this with the wood effect tiles and have them throughout the whole ground floor of the new house.

I'm on board for the hall and kitchen diner, but I am really nervous about the idea of tiling the living room! We can get a nice big rug of course and I'm sure it would look good. But still, there's something about the idea of tiles - any sort of tiles! - in a living room that I'm struggling with. But, i do really like the tiles! Does anyone have any thoughts?

I've got tiles that look just like the ones in Amyboo's photo in my hall. They are a bit cold in my opinion. I love the look of them but will have LVT in our kitchen and new extension. Our tiles were B and Q

Following. We are considering the same but I am concerned about the coldness

It’s not cold with underfloor heating.
