I long for a new kitchen, but the current one is in perfectly good condition despite being old so we can't really justify the cost. Any ideas for how I could refresh it a bit instead?
It's white with wood edges on the doors and counters, so painting the cupboard doors would be a really fiddly job, plus I don't think the surface would take paint very well. The tiles are painted black and light green (covering up the hideous pattern the previous owner had), the walls are white and the floor is vinyl that looks like slate tiles. Lots of light as it faces south with a biggish window and a door to the garden.
We do need to de-clutter it a bit, which should help, but does anyone have suggestions for other things I could do?
