We are thinking of buying in Napsbury Park. But worried about schools and daily commute to London. Any tips or reviews will be super helpful.

I live not far from Napsbury Park, it's always struck me as a gorgeous, peaceful development with lovely green spaces and access to countryside walks. Assuming you are talking about the development of the old hospital in London Colney, St Albans? 😊 The buildings are stunning. Schools-wise, there are several primaries rated Ofsted "Good" very nearby. For secondary you'd probably be looking at Samuel Ryder in St Albans which has a great reputation and is also Ofsted "Good". To get to London easily you'd need to commute from St Albans City - about a 10 minute drive to the station, possibly more in traffic, and parking is expensive at the station itself. Once you're on the train, though, you're in St Pancras within 20 minutes. Alternatively you can go from Park Street which takes you to Watford Junction, and from there you can get the Metropolitan Line.
This listing might give you more info about the area: www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/117721103 . Good luck!

I've always thought it looks really nice but a bit out of the way for shops/schools/Station etc while not exactly a village if that makes sense. But then I grew up on London suburbia and am used to every convenience being within walking distance and wouldn't like being reliant on a car, but it depends on what you're used to (or could get used to)

Thank you so much @irisetta and @Exhausteddog, very helpful update. We visited the development again and really like it. For our DS we are looking at some of the private schools near Radlett and we are planning a schools drop off in Radlett and then take a train from Radlett itself (when wfh is finally over). Is that normal commute for people living in the area? We have been looking and not found anything in Radlett so far, so Napsbury is our best option. Also, how are the taxi/Uber services in the area, is it easy to get a cab to/from Napsbury Park to St. Albans station every day during peak commute times?

Ubers and normal taxis are plentiful in the St Albans area. Big taxi rank outside the station, or at peak times your should be able to get an Uber within 8 mins or so. Radlett is on the "slow" line to St Albans from London - there should be one every 10 mins or so, and St Albans is the next stop, so shouldn't be a problem.
