We've just had a new kicthen from Howdens, with fitting, tiles etc all in. It came to 11.5k, this was a mid-range kitchen with Bosch appliances.
We checked out a few places, our fitter and family trademen recommended Howdens. We went to IKEA but they don't use standard sizes for carcasses, although I was impressed with the design. I was concerned about the ease of repairs.
Howdens came out and measured up, then designed the kitchen before I arrived, I made some adjustments, picked the doors, colours, handles etc...
They did stagger the delivery, which was frustrating, there were a few things missing but they literally delivered within the hour, twice... which I found quite impressive. They also changed a couple of things for us last minute at no extra charge.
The quality is decent also and they had an impressive range of options, the units come pre-built which saves money and time.
I would recommend Howdens, this is there speciality wood work.
