Repair/fill broken ornament

I have a rather large, gorgeous hare ornament that stands on its back legs.
Me ex broke it some ago and I'm getting around to fixing it. (Healing me, healing the cracks, healing the hare! Grin)

It stands about 50cms tall and is a light white glaze with blue veins- I know this has a name but I can't think of it to save my life.

I have all the large parts and have been gluing it back together. But there are a few tiny pieces that I don't have that are a couple of mm wide and whilst don't affect the pieces going back together, do really show up.

I need something to fill then with and then possibly paint?? over?? The blue veins will help with this as will disguise the joins.

But what do I need fill the bits with? Help as I'd love to bring him back to life. (He was also blooming expensive!)

Bump for you OP. Posters might find it easier to comment if there's a photo?

I don't do it myself, but somebody showed me china he had repaired by mixing polyfilla powder into the glue in an eggcup to make a white thick paste that fills in cracks and chips while you are gluing the broken pieces together. It can by tinted by adding the tiniest bit of emulsion paint.

PVA is water soluble so will come away if you wash it, but there is an "external" or "waterproof" version.

There may be a better glue.

To hold the pieces in place while they set, you can put them in a dish and pour sugar round the lower piece so the upper one will balance on top, or you can use sellotape round things like cups, or you can stick them to your worktop with blu-tak.

I know this one! You need Milliput superfine white epoxy putty:

You knead a little bit of each bar together, then it’s like clay / fimo/ plasticine, and you mould it and squish it into the gaps. There are loads of videos on how to do it on YouTube- I watched some by The China Repair Shop. I used it to mend chips in the side of nice bowls / mugs. It is very durable and easy to work with, and you can paint over the top - I used acrylic paints but I wasn’t sure what the best plan was!

You could do that Japanese thing where they don't try and hide the cracks.

Ooo, I was looking at Milliput but wasn't sure. Thank you, I will order some and have a go - nothing to lose.
