Cost of removing immersion tank

Morning all
We have a combi boiler in the house we are buying and an immersion tank. It takes up space we need. Anyone know how much it'll be to get rid?
Thank you

Is it still connected to the water system in any way and has it been drained?
If no to these points and it is accessible (i.e. not built into a cupboard that makes removal extremely difficult) then removal should be fairly cheap. Assuming it is a copper tank we are talking about the then it has a scrap value (along with any associated pipework still in situ).
If it is still connected to the system in some way or still has water in it then you just need to get it isolated / emptied and then removed.

One thing that does make me wonder is why it was left in the first place? Normally these are removed when the new system goes in to make space, also the scrap value is a perk of the job.

Just thought I'd ask but it may be relevant to you. Arnt these tanks needed for the air pump systems the government is pushing for all homes to have.

Are you sure the boiler is a combi?

Is the hot water cylinder disconnected amd drained?

Are there any water tanks in the loft, and have they got any water in them?
