Our purchase has a rear ‘sun room’ built 2018.
It’s basically an extension, opens into kitchen where original french doors were (doors and fitting removed).
It’s brick and glass with one solid wall and mostly solid roof.
On the property info form they’ve said didn’t require planning Or regs, but I think it probably does?
Anyone know?

Good to see that others have stated the limitations of indemnity insurance. It won't cover the costs of putting this right. If the structure was altered more than 12 months ago, the authorities have limited ability to force compliance which is what the indemnity policy usually covers. So you are left with a potentially non compliant building and similar issues when you come to sell. You can ask them to request retrospective compliance or certificate of habitual use which might be enough to fob off future buyers.
