Selling house - neighbour smokes weed

We’re selling our house. Our next door neighbour smokes weed several times a day whenever he’s home and it comes into our garden, and inside our (terraced) house if we leave the windows/back door open.

We’ve had a horrible WhatsApp row about it - he thinks it’s just a ‘waft’ but it seems to give me a headache, and I don’t want my kids growing up around it. He doesn’t do it if he notices my kids are in the garden.

I’m aware lots of people aren’t bothered by it/ think it’s fine, but I hate it.

Does anyone know if we have to declare this to a potential buyer? Does this count as a ‘dispute’ for the sellers’ information pack? I certainly don’t want to sell it to someone with kids in case they hate it as much as I do. I feel like we should say something morally but is that mad?!

Our neighbours teenage son developed a serious weed habit over lockdown. It stinks. He’s always out in his garden and it drifts in, even with windows closed. The garden is awful at times and he doesn’t care of us or the kids are out!

We always got on with his parents but they have no issue with his behaviour at all, it’s just him relaxing (doesn’t work incidentally but has an awful lot of people stop by his house briefly on a daily basis).

We knew we wanted to move soon so we haven’t reported it to anyone as then we’d need to declare a dispute. Im

Sorry posted to soon.

It feels wrong, as a decent human being but I put house is otherwise great, he might not be there for long and not everyone will have an issue with it.
