How do I remove a built in fridge?

It's not cooling and i wondered if in building work the condensor coils have got dusty. There's dust everywhere.

Do you just unscrew it from door and pull it out?

I don't think you need to take the door off unless it is attached to something other than the fridge. If you have a plinth going round which covers the bottom of it, you will need to pull that off.

It depends if your cupboard door is mounted directly to the fridge, or the fridge door is connected to the cupboard door which hinges to a carcass. If it's the former it will pull out in one go.

It might have small brackets or screws attaching it to the worktop of floor. These should be easy to spot.

Lowering the legs might help when pulling it out. Mine has a long rod which you push though a small hole at the front and turns to lower the rear legs.

thank you. The kickboards haven't gone on yet which should make it easier.

Is it new or been installed recently? I wondered why the kickboards aren't on yet.

If been stored lying down the oil in the compressor can seep into the cooling tubes which can prevent it from working properly. If this is the case you need to let it stand upright, switched off for 24 hours.
(So we were told having transported a fridge freezer lying down in an estate car)
