Lvt flooring

Hi

We have had floating lvt flooring fitted in our kitchen last December. We have some really heavy furniture in there and it's buckled and is lifting really badly. Since learnt you shouldn't put heavy furniture on it as it acts like a wall. Can you glue the click planks? If not can anyone recommend a cheapish high quality glue down lvt? It's an expensive mistake to make!

I’d speak to the fitters. Our karndean has a lifetime guarantee and when one plank slightly lifted I was dreading calling the fitter but they were fab and said to call anytime as that’s what the guarantee is for.

Thanks. Our builder did it. Fitted it correctly and we upgraded on underlay at the recommendation of the floor salespeople. Its invalidated the guarantee as it needed to be the floor companies brand. But basically from what I understand its not a good fit for our furniture. WE should have gone glue down and not clic stuff. It's a kitchen diner and we have a huge old dresser and a pew and they are too heavy for a floating floor.

I have the glue down polyflor and it's been really good. Not sure how cheap it was but definitely cheaper than some of the branded options.

I think it was Polyflor Camaro or something like that

We have glue down....it’s been brilliant ....we’ve got some heavy furniture on ours ....it’s not been a problem....it comes with a 20 year guarantee
