Would it make sense to buy new boiler? Instead of moving old boiler?

So we're putting an offer on a house that has (what seems to be a combi-) boiler in one if the bedrooms upstairs. I've always hated the clicking and humming noise of boilers when I sleep so I'd like to a) either move the boiler somewhere else, or b) have a new boiler fitted and remove the current installation. The boiler in the bedroom is directly above the kitchen so would it be easy to move it to the kitchen? The tricky bit is that there is no space directly underneath because there is a window there with the cooker next to it.
And if we're going to go through all that hassle, would it not be easier to just buy a new boiler with installation included? Presumably we'd have to still pay extra to have the current installation removed and rerouted, right?
Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you deal with it?

TIA XX

How old is your current boiler and when was it last serviced.

It's worth getting a gas safe engineer out for a free quote, get 3 opinions/quotes.
Our plumber doesn't like moving boilers, because he said when you take them off the wall, all the seals and gaskets will need replacing - although it sounded like a job he didnt want to do, rather than a job that is beyond the wit of man.

I'm not sure how old it is but I have a second viewing tomorrow so I'm going to find out.
If it's a question of couple of hundred pounds and less hassle, I'd go for a new boiler.
Are new boilers smaller and less noisy?

Maybe just beyond the wit of that man?

We got 20 years out of our combi, it was moved inbetween too. (quite a distance). It depends on the age, our new combi was a couple of grand though.

Of course fitting a new boiler is a lot less hassle for the plumber.................................. (dearer and not exactly green though.)

@hannahcolobus thanks. So I've had a look but can't tell much from these numbers. Would you be able to tell? The date in the bottom right corner, is it the date it was installed?
