Leather sofa

Sorry if you've seen this post in chat --desperate to find some sort of answer.

I can't believe this has happened. Moved house and decided to spend a little more on some nice leather sofas from DFS. All has been well, until, now, 6 months later. DS has accidentally marked the armrest on one of the sofas. Mark wouldn't budge, so I decided to use a little more force and it looks like I've damaged that area (top layer of leather looks like it might have peeled a little).
Feeling extremely annoyed at myself, is there a way I can save the sofa?
Worst thing is, that area still has blue hinge to it (white sofa), and I didn't even attempt the mark next to it.
Very worried the leather will now start peeling (if that's a thing) after some reassurance.

Try this, put a layer on and leave to dry then add another coat before buffing gently. If the problem area has already peeled away, it's easier to cut off that section or stick it down with fabric glue first before applying.
