Victorian terraced house.
2 rainwater downpipes collect our roof water and water from roof off canopy, over ground floor bay window at front of house.
Pipes go underground.
Both pipes meet underground, at a Y-shaped junction under front garden (small, postage stamp sized garden) then continue underground, beneath house boundary wall, under street pavement and emerge at the road kerbside where they drain along side of road.
Road is a public highway.
Am I right in thinking that I am responsible for the pipe(s) up to the point where they leave my boundary?
Ie. Water company is responsible for the under the pavement bit and the bit where it emerges at kerbside?
Thank you.
