Help! mouse stuck in the wall

Before I start I will say I am petrified of mice and suffer with OCD related to creepy crawlies mice rats etc. The other day I had my back door open for a few hours. When I can in in the evening I shut the door but later saw a mouse sat by the window in the conservatory. I tried to get it out but couldnt as I was having a panic attack so my dad came round and said he thought it had gone out of the door. 3 days later and it seems to be in our wall on the other side of our house. I've found the entrance point and have temporarily blocked it with tin foil but I need it gone. I'm petrified of electrical fires caused by mice. Someone give me some advice please!!!

It isn’t stuck, but might be quite comfortable. Tin foil won’t stop it. You need an exterminator. I also doubt it just walked in the open door.

@Livingintheclouds I'm pretty sure its just one as it's gone through a previously plastic bag filled hole from the kitchen to the conservatory. Its shredded the bag in the hole (was not shredded before I spotted it) which I have stuffed with tinfoil temporarily until I can figure out next plan of action. Also I saw it at about 3pm looking longingly out of the window which I'm assuming means hed just wandered in as they're usually nocturnal

You can buy plug in things which deter mice, I have mice occasionally and bought a few of them to put around the house. That won't help with your resident mouse but think of it for the future. Look on Amazon, they are called Ultrasonic Pest Repellants. They repel spiders, ants, cockroaches as well.

Regarding your little lodger, put a humane mouse trap down near it's hole. I have caught mice in one of those and released them back into the wild. I baited with a bit of chocolate chip cookie and crumbled cheese. However if you are scared of them, you need someone else at home to monitor the trap and do the putting outside. I'm not afraid of mice so they don't bother me much.

When I had cats, no mouse would have taken up residence here but I still have my cat flap which is a bit loose, flaps in the wind, and I think they come in through there. Cats did occasionally bring one in of course and we had fun and games trying to rescue it if it was still alive. At the bottom of my garden there is a shed and I think they nest under it. Cheeky little things.
