Whilst waiting for a new kitchen with no oven can I use an under counter electric oven on the counter?

To tide me over? Is it safe do you think?

Get an airfryer.

I have the Instant Pot Duocrisp. It’s been surprisingly good for food. I can even make small rotis on it with the saute function and an inner pot - which is ideal for my fussy toddler.

They are pretty heavy, can you get a dual microwave or a baby belling.

An electric oven requires a pretty hefty power supply (30 amps I think) and should be connected by an electrian. I suspect an electrician would not connect it up as it would not be secure.

No. It'll get too hot.

If it’s a standard single oven which plugs in with a normal 3pin a plug, it should be fine. They’re insulated in order to not set fire to their housing. Ours sat on a temporary worktop for the best part of 6 months including Christmas until the new kitchen was fitted.

Oh thanks, I've not brought one yet Grin I was going to wait but we have an air fryer and whilst it's extremely handy I can't cope several mote months with just that.

The election said he would do it.

It would be a single electric oven, 70l.

why do you want to put it on the counter?

if it is a built-in oven intended to fit in a tower, it might fall over if it is not in an enclosure. I'm not sure how stable they are. In a tower, they have an extra-strong shelf to sit on.

You can buy a combi micowave with grill and fan oven, which is a very useful thing to have, and is designed to sit on a worktop.

It's going to go under the counter not a tower,
It's the old one kitchen and our current free standing oven is broken so there is no where to else to put it

Could buy combo but I think they are expensive and not great as micro wave

Wouldnt risk it personally... Slow cooker, George Foreman grill, electric steamer and salads got us by- you could get a cheap camping type hob thing and put it on a table even- is it a cooker that you'll keep in your new kitchen once done?

Yes
