Best product to apply to garden table & chairs to protect from weather?

Hi, I got a wooden garden table and chairs set a year ago and they're starting to look a bit faded and tattered. I think I need to apply something to protect them and bring out the colour of the wood again. Can anyone recommend a product that will both protect and improve the colour? A lot of products that I've looked at seem to only be suitable for fences/sheds. Thanks 😊

Cuprinol garden shades has worked well with ours. Needs renewing every couple of years.

Doesn't bring out the natural colour though!

Teak oil or Danish oil.

We got told to only put oil on our wooden deck, not paint or varnish so I'd imagine some sort of oil would be best for wooden furniture.

I don't think you can restore the original colour - all woods seem to go silvery grey over time and oils and varnishes all deteriorate and can look worse that naturally aged wood.

If they're are oak, do nothing unless you want an recurring job for life.

@FuzzyPuffling

Teak oil or Danish oil.
And you might need to sand the surface to get to clean wood first. If you do sand, wipe the sanded wood with a cloth dabbed with white spirit before oiling.

I had an inexpensive wooden garden bench which was left to the weather for a decade.
I sanded it down and coated it in several layers of yacht varnish, was a bit of a labour of love but it looks as good as new.
Prevention being better than cure, it now has a cover on when not in use.

I know it's not for everyone, bit I love the silvered look of older wood much more than orangey- new.
