Boiler in bathroom - how far from a bath?

We've just moved to a house with a combi boiler in the bathroom. It's in a sold wood cupboard and not far from a sink.
I want to reconfigure the bathroom, which would mean a bath being quite close to the boiler cupboard. Having done a bit of reserach, it seems that boiler should be in zone 3 in a bathroom, so 0.6m from the bath. What I can't find out is whether that is still relevant if the boiler is in a secure cupboard.
Can anyone help advice? Tagging @pigletjohn in the hope he can help

"cupboards" and other bathroom enclosures with electrics inside have to be locked, and need a key to open.

They can also be fixed in some way that needs a tool to open them, such as a screwdriver. The key is equivalent to a tool.

the idea is that you will not be able to open them and plug in your toaster while you are having a bath.

The items must also be in a position where they are not likely to be splashed, squirted or dripped on.

You refer to Zone 3 but that was abolished some years ago, we now say "outside zones."

There is a good up to date diagram

here

another sign of a bad diagram is that it shows a zone round a sink or basin. Bathroom zones only exist around baths and showers.

P.S.

the document refers to "low-voltage circuits" but in the world of electrical engineering, they mean 230volt. This is not what you might think. They say "extra-low voltage" when they mean 12v.

@PigletJohn thanks so much. So I'm ok to keep the boiler in situ as long as it's in a locked cupboard (and I don't try and make toast at the same time) 😀
That's very good news as it means I can put my bath in and not have to move the boiler.
Thanks again

I looked for more information about cupboards, and they are mentioned on here.

which seems to say the cupboard itself should be in zone three (sic)
however the document is rather poor because it als says the spur (switch) must be outside the bathroom, which is not correct, it has to be outside the zones.

you should I think ask the manufacturer of your boiler or you may run into trouble when the boiler needs servicing.
