I need work too! ,😉 Plus they're building tons of houses around here so probably lots of work around.

I'm not a million miles away and don't know Kiddy very well other than it's just a basic boring but functional town centre with one or two weird roundabouts (I did my livestock trailer test around and about!) but that general part of the world is very nice, lots of countryside and attractions nearby and good access to more urban areas when you need it. It is a whole world away from London so bad reviews will be all relative. If the housing is ok for you then the wider area is likely to be good for your family! The only thing is it may be a bit dull to being in the city as there isn't ever going to be the buzz of a proper urban area but you may well think a dull life is good news!

It's a big change from London but no gangs. I just asked my friend who lives near to where you might go and she says yes definitely ok area. She takes her kids to the little park down the road.

You might find it a big contrast to London but I am sure you'd make some friends through the kids once covid stops being a pain. It's got every supermarket imaginable so if you're looking for that kind of work for yourself eventually.. you'll probably be ok!

I live in Kidderminster, I've name changed for this. I moved up from the SE for work eventually found myself in Kidderminster. I live in the Horsefair and it's not too bad, though I live on the new development at the bottom of Broad street. I wouldn't worry about walking around by myself at night here. The Rifle Range has the reputation for being a bit rough but people I know who have lived there had no problems. Habberley is supposed to be a quiet area, is this where you are going as you mention the Co op and that is up that way?
The town centre is weary and needs a makeover. It is very easy to get to Worcester or Birmingham though. Lots of great countryside, the safari park and Severn Valley Railway, plus many other things.
