It will be run off a combi-boiler. I think I am looking for a mixer (or thermostatic?) shower. Definitely not electrical.

I’d like it so have drench head and a hand soray thing.

What so I look for in the spec to determine how powerful it will be?

Help!

I am looking for the same, so forgive me for tagging along. In fact tomorrow I am planning a trip to Homebase/ Bathstore to have a look.
I am informed that if your shower works off the combo boiler it will not need a pump.( Just sharing that)
My brother sourced a Aqualisa unit for my mother nearly 16 years ago and it still works beautifully.

You need to measure your water pressure in the bathroom - it will be mains if run off a combi. Then spec something suitable from there.

You def need to check your water pressure first we had really old pipes from meter to house I think 18mm now have 22mm difference is amazing!

Yes to thermostatic one!

You can get a mains pressure tester on eBay for not much money. A plumber should also be able to do it. I think you also need to measure flow rate as that might be part of the spec provided for showers (can't remember, it was ages ago I got into it) but very easy to test yourself using a measuring jug.
