How long to prepare Report on Title after searches is done

FTB. My conveyancer is getting into my nerves. He is not good in replying or keeping me up to date with the progress. I've to call him, email few times to get update.

I'm in rush to meet 30th June deadline for stamp duty holiday.

Latest update from my conveyancer is that he has completed searches and has to prepare "Report on Title" and will send to me afterwards. 1 day has passed and I don't have it.

Does anyone know how long does it actually take to just prepare this?

Do I have hope to complete the exchange before 30th June?

@Bobnstacysmum finger crossed for Monday.

Good news. I finally received report today. So for me it took 1 week to prepare these documents. A date of completion is also set before 30th. Looks good so far.

@TortolaParadise

Any progress made today? I now have my Report on Title to read over the weekend. It has taken my solicitor four days to produce this document. She even had the audacity to tell me how busy she is! Very unprofessional indeed.
Are you kidding me?? I am working 7 days a week at the moment. Your solicitor will be fully aware of your deadline which funnily enough is the same as everyone else.

Stop phoning, send an email and wait.

I am exhausted and cannot wait for the 1st July. I have advised all clients that any sales/purchases agreed march and onwards they must have a contingency in place (ie stamp duty money!) as no guarantees can be made.

We got ours in 4 or 5 days. We got it yesterday and hoping to complete by the 30th too (for our buyers' sake rather than ours as we are under £250k.). I was quite impressed by this as they had to receive it all, read through, write up the report and post it to us.

@Nickinoo30 I kid you not - it is good that you advised all of your clients then they know what to expect. Well done.

Our solicitor kept promising to send the "report on title" for about 4 weeks. When we eventually received it, it was a very rushed email with copy/pasted sections (word for word, different fonts etc) from the various searches ...which we had already received. Definitely about 15 minutes of "effort" and nothing which we couldn't have inferred from our own reading of the various searches and documents. I am sure some firms do things properly, but definitely not all. We used a local "well respected" firm btw.

Our solicitor blamed IT errors and all sorts for the delays...but in reality it seemed to just be one overworked solicitor and a lot of excuses.

The reality is that they are overworked and stressed out, but obviously it is not the done thing to tell your clients that!! Matters should improve after the stamp duty deadline has expired, but I guess everything is a rush job at the moment since nearly every client is aiming for completion this month.
