Considering moving to Skegness

I've been thinking about relocating for quite awhile now. I had been sticking around for my family but none of them are interested in us/have any time for us anyway so that's not keeping me here anymore.

Does anyone have experience living in Skegness? House prices are ALOT lower there than here; we could never afford to own a home here but it's very possible there. What places are to be avoided? Are people friendly? Are the summer month's tourism influx a complete nightmare? There's lots of beautiful houses there and I'd love to live at the seaside but I've got a creeping 'too good to be true' feeling!

Swansea. On the coast, reasonable house prices, great schools and diverse. You couldn’t afford the really posh areas but could afford Sandfields, brnhyfryd:(spelling may be wrong), treboeth, Manselton, gowerton and waunarlywd.

Come for a reccy, it is a fabulous place to live.

There are English and Welsh schools, my children go to an English medium school and learn Welsh as a second language.
