What happens when they do your inspection?
Do they take pictures? If so, what of?
(I am renting so I know what happens. I'm just wondering what other people's experiences are/what's usual)

I'm a LL, I check every 6 months - it's an opportunity to check if anything needs repair, if I can see any signs of a leak or other issue before it becomes a bigger issue, check the boiler pressure, the fire alarms, carbon monoxide alarm, I clear the drains which inevitably have fat/grossness (easier to do this myself rather than get a phone call about a blockage!).

My main focus is keeping the house safe, secure and in good repair. I take no notice of the tenant's belongings and would never criticise anything, and it's always carried out at a time 100% convenient for the tenant.
