Dream house back on the market for 75k more

I saw my dream house come up for sale two months ago. We weren’t proceedable at the time so didn’t bother booking a viewing as we knew it would go fast. It went under offer two weeks later (no surprise there!) and I thought that was that. However, I checked Rightmove again today and it’s just been relisted... for 75k more than it was in April! What could have happened?!

Agents round my area taking the absolute p!ss recently....

A few months ago, people were willing to pay any price to get a house in the area, now just a few short weeks later, so many places being reduced 25-50k.

The survey might have shown an issue and the previous buyer tried to negotiate the money off? In anticipation of that issue coming up again, they may be pricing higher to prepare for a negotiation done again

House prices are mad at the minute. I live in a small, rural village that is easy access to London - not close enough to regularly commute but close enough to get into the city easily enough every now and again.

Similar houses to mine are listed as £100k+ more than I paid for this one 4 years ago and easily £50k of that has just been added in the last 6 months. They are selling at those prices almost as soon as they are listed.

I suppose it'll sort itself out again at some point...
