Howden’s kitchens

I am having my kitchen replaced via an insurance claim after a fire.
We have just got to the stage of the claim where it has been passed to the building company who are sending out a rep from howdens to do the design layout and for me to choose the units.
The insurance company have graded my old kitchen as a A grade so that pretty much gives me free reign in my howdens choice.
I have never had a kitchen from them before and the fire damaged one was put in by the previous owners.
So what should I be looking for? Any particular ranges better than the others? Handless or not? Help me as I am pretty clueless.
For flooring they will be replacing my polymer flooring in light oak, new ceiling, all walls will have the tiles replaced. I have white now with a grey boarder tile and want to keep these colours and I would like a flat colour rather than gloss. The kitchen is quite large but I have more base units than wall as it is double aspect with two large windows.
So what should I be looking at?

We got a new Howdens kitchen last year, grey handle less gloss units. We are very pleased with the units but the appliances are not that great.

Depends on the age and style of your house and your personal choice.
We have in frame Tewksbury in Antique white. Our handles are pewter. It suits the ages of our house and I think the style is timeless.
Pull out tall larders are great, but don’t bother with 300 base units, difficult to get into and don’t hold much. We have deep drawers and next time I’d go for more drawer units.

Call your local Howdens and get someone to come out and do a design and quote for you

You might have to have someone to fit it first but if you don't have someone they will recommend someone

Go to their showroom before they come. Have a feel and ask about the ranges. Only you can decide what style you like.

The building company working for the insurance company will arrange fitting and all the other work to be completed so I don’t have to worry about fitting.
I have been looking at their website and quite like the look of the handless hockley in flat sandstone. Anyone got this one and if so what do you think of the quality and design?
Cant have any tall units because of the double aspect windows so just base units and a couple of wall units.
I don’t know if the insurance company are going to use howdens for the cooker and extractor fan. Both will need replacing but looking at the website there isn’t a great choice.
