If like me you have a phobia of spiders I've been.looking for a way to get rid of them without having to kill them. It always makes me feel guilty lol. I found a great product on amazon that's all natural called EcoWidow spider repellent, I've tried few some work better than others but this one seem to give best results. If you have any other tips I'd love to hear your experiences.Smile

I think some houses are just super spidery and some aren’t.

If you live rurally, or backing onto a field you’re fucked. Especially if you have a lovely thatched roof apparently.

Oh no! I just made DH get rid of a MASSIVE spindly spider. I had forgotten they are suppose to be good at getting rid of the fat black ones.
I can’t even click on that video though.

You need to get an old lady round and feed her some flies

Put some towels on the seat underneath her. You wouldn't want to have to deal with the aftermath of the buggers once they've wriggled and jiggled and tickled insider her.

I read that citronella oil on the skirting boards / doors / windows deters them. Tried it and it seems to work, plus I love a citrus scent.

I like spiders, they eat all the other little bugs things. I second a cat. One of our DCats used to chase and crunch them.

The only thing I've managed to find that deals with them effectively is training DC to have no spider fear then getting them to remove spiders. It's a difficult strategy I agree (and has a limited shelf life) but so far I have a 50% success rate!

I also have a dog that I thought would protect me from spiders when DD is out but he is more scared of them than I am!
