My kitchen is tiny. I need a new kitchen as it has fallen apart. So I now need to decide if I should extend given the need to replace the kitchen. I've always wanted to. But the cost and the practicality of the extension has put me off. The house is a typical 30's small semi. The original kitchen has had a small 1m x 3m extension. I want to extend it by 1.5m. So it will be a 4.5 sqm extension.
What kind of cost am I looking at for just the extension? I've been told the rsj is in place from the previous extension. Do I really need an architect for such a small extension?!
Help! See pic of stupidly small kitchen for a family of 5! (Pic a few years ago before several of the cupboard doors fell off, and 2 more kids were added to the household. It is far more cluttered now!!).
