Insulation specialists?

I would like to improve the insulation in my home which is cold and heating needs to be on for long periods. I am paying £130 a month for gas and electric in the winter so it would really make sense. The standard insulation however has been done, loft insulation and cavity wall insulation. So I am not sure what the most cost effective thing to do to improve it would be. I have been wondering about paying for an independent expert to give me some advise, but I don't know how to find one, google is no help! Does anyone know how I could find an 'expert'?

Have you got any bare floorboards or open fireplaces?

Have you got halogen downlighters? Electric heaters?

How old is your house, and how big? Is it open plan? Do you shut the doors?

What is the annual metered usage (not the bill) for your gas and your electricity?

You could have an energy survey and get an EPC which will guide you.

Usually done by local independents as there is not much money in it.

There is a certain amount of guesswork and assumptions, and the people vary, but are often very committed to energy saving.

There is a chance your energy supplier or council have a scheme

Don't get a salesman in.

Go round the rooms, skirting, door and window frames with a joss stick, looking for draughts.

Thanks yes I will check those things. No fireplaces or bare floorboards. Too muxh ventilation though with multiple ventilation grids. The radiators are badly fitted I think. Two right up against external walls. Irs a three bedroom end of terrace. There is a ground floor extension I suspect no insulation in roof and no door to close to it.
