How to hide tumble dryer and recycling

I have a condenser tumble dryer and recycling bins in the corner of my kitchen, plus lots of clutter that gets dumped on top. I’d like to put in a worktop with sides and doors to hide this. Am guessing back would prob have to be open towards the wall for ventilation, and doors open when tumble dryer running.

How do I go about achieving this? Do I need to get a carpenter to put something together to fit the space, or are there other options?

I got rid of the bins, is that an option? We just put any recycling straight into the bin outside.

My tumble dryer is hidden behind doors under the worktop. The worktop is deeper than usual to allow for space for ventilation at the back. The skirting board has a vented grate as well. We have a 6 plastic shoe storage unit that sits behind our kitchen door for recycling. It’s very minimal, easy to clean and means we sort the recycling out straight away into cardboard, glass etc

My dryer is not vented and is behind a cupboard.
My plastic and glass recycling is in a pull out bin - half rubbish half recycling. The cardboard and paper box sits outside my back door - not the nicest look so I stashed it in the shed when I had viewings!

Thank you. I would love to hide everything behind some cabinets! I already take the glass / plastic recycling out every couple of days. I couldn’t deal with it all being left on the side until I went out.

Stupid question, but do any companies make the extra deep base units, or do I have to find a carpenter who will make it all to spec.

Also, how much room needs to be left for ventilation -10 cm?

I have Schuller units in my utility - they do a great pull out with big bags for recycling or plastic bins for glass. My tumbler is at eye level with pull out shelf for the basket. Worth a look.

We put the tumble dryer in the garage.

No garage, unfortunately, and I can only dream of a utility room. Have resigned myself of having muddy boots by the back door for the foreseeable.

@Simonutti72 those tall units look great! I’d love one to put ironing stuff and hoover and duster etc, but area of kitchen I need the cupboards for has a large window, so hence why I’m restricted to base units under worktop.

You can buy standard cupboards and situate away from the wall for venting. Just get the worktop to cover the gap, needs some wood on wall to sit the worktop onto and then to cover sides if exposed. We had 5cm gap on all sides and the skirting is removable to enable access for repairs
