Any recommendations, pros and cons? TIA.

Cons. Low level ovens. Buying separate gives much greater choice of programs and attributes. Build quality likely to be better.

For: probably cheaper.

Thanks. I really wanted a freestanding kitchen so a range cooker would suit better, but yes, low level ovens are a PITA. Might have to think again.

I just find for cleaning, general everyday use and especially grilling, eye level is best. I know some people love range coolers but I cannot see the benefit personally.

Could you have a wall of fitted with other elements non fitted? Mix it up a bit.

Yes, I think that's the way to go. There are a couple of 'nooks' in the kitchen that I may be able to get a wall oven in. Thanks!

I prefer eye level ovens too, but it wasn't an option for us (space created by an evicted Aga, no money to redo kitchen). I had strict criteria - oven needed to be pyrolytic self cleaning, and needed an induction hob. There weren't many on the market, we ended up with a Smeg. It's good, but I think separate ovens and jobs are more efficient and have better specs.
