Structural Survey Requested?

Hoping for some advice, though we was about to exchange then just been advised from EA that buyers mortgage provider has requested for them to have this survey!
Does anyone know if this is normal or should we be worried that things may now start going, can't believe how late it's been left everything else is all sorted searches, enquiries etc.

Long standing doesn’t mean it’s not an issue though. It might need resolving at some point.

Ok so this is still going on!!!
Structural report went back and lender came back to engineer with two questions which he answered they have then come back asking for prices which he replies it isn't for him to answer. Lender has requested my buyer gets a builder to give a rough price of works which he has classed as minor repairs with a cost total of £2800 for the 3 jobs.
What happens next? Anyone got any idea I'm presuming this will now all be okay
