Moving a toilet

Went to view a house today, really liked it. The only issue was that it doesn't have a bath, only a shower. To put a bath in we'd need to move a toilet. How much of an issue can this be? How much cost is it likely to add to any renovation?

We'd be buying all new bathroom fittings regardless.

I've attached the floor plan showing the current layout.

Thanks!

It depends where your Down pipe is, how far you want to move the loo, and how much slope you could get on the waste pipe across that distance. I would guess the down pipe is directly behind where it is now, and you'd want to be putting it about 2.5m away on the opposite wall? I'm not sure if that would be doable depending on how much clearance you've got under your floorboards.

You'd possibly be better off moving the door over to the left where the shower is, and then running a bath along the right hand wall.

It was a typical first house viewing, we'd view again and measure up before putting an offer in, but sounds like it might be possible in theory.

Moving the door is also a good shout, I wouldn't have thought of that!

Moving the door is an excellent idea. I don't like where the sink is either, if it's half under a window.
Moving the toilet is doable too - anything is with enough money!
