Victorian/Edwardian hallway floor tiles

Cany anyone recommend something that doesn't cost the earth? We are renovating an edwardian semi and the original tiles have been completely trashed by laminate that was stuck to them. The only reason I'm not crying over it is that they were mostly brown which I didn't love....

Even the likes of Topps Tiles are charging well over £200 per m2 for proper mosaic and I imagine the laying costs will also be around the £100 m2 for something like this, so I'm looking for a cheaper but not hideous alternative.

Has anyone laid something like the Topps Tiles Henley range? The look of mosaic but on a 30 x 30? Did it look good or cheap and nasty? Or has anyone got a better suggestion. I can probably afford up to around £50 per m2.

We’ve just put Mr Jones in our hall ( he likes it there! Grin. We thought about Henley, but it seemed a bit busy for us. We chose grey and used a narrow grey grout. They went down well. It’s important to make sure the floors even.

Oh they look nice @Beebumble2. Did you use a border tile?

No because the hall is quire narrow. It was one of the reasons we didn’t go for the Edwardian replicas, they really needed the border.

We have the width for a border but I'm just not sure about the whole fake 'mosaic' thing.

Is it possible to DM me?

I've had Henley. I think it looked really good. I was worried it would become v popular if not already as I'd seen it in a house on Rightmove! I didn't use the border, i was going for a slightly more modern effect. You can also find Henley organised in different colours on the Internet, ebay etc.

Ebay is actually v good. Also that website walls and floors.

We put them down around 5 years ago and they haven't dated in design and aren't worn out at all yet, so I would recommend! I was the same as @samosamo and worried that they would start popping up everywhere, but it's not been too bad :)
